Life is good (knock on wood)!

We watched Lincoln a few times this week. I just love watching him because 1. He is totally cute and 2. Him and Grant play so hard and just keep going and going until they both fall asleep from exhaustion.

Grant is just too handsome. He loved my neighbors little "Four-lala"-as Grant calls them.
Life has been pretty good lately. Nothing too dramatic happening so that is good! Nathan is back at work. I just finished my second semester of school. I've been doing a lot of running lately. I ran this little fun run thing put on by the city a few weeks ago. I was the only smart enough person to wear shorts to it. Not! I really thought I was going to fall on my face because my legs were so numb from the cold I could barely feel them. Luckily though, there was no permanent damage, and I WON a cooler! Woo Woo!

Hope everyone has had a good Mother's Day by the way. Mine has been a ton of fun. After church, Mike and Raquel, and our good friend Bonnie came over and we chowed down on one of those little knock off Cafe Rio recipes that is the bomb! We had some good laughs, especially about Nathan's whole near death experience. I am glad he is around so that we can laugh about the whole thing now. Best part of all though, I got to talk to Logan. Yay. I was so excited. He sounded so great. Still the same!

We have actually been pretty busy. I think everyone feels bad for us because of what happened with Nathan, so they are extra keen on inviting us places! Just kidding. It's been a lot of fun though. My friend Juanita's son was "Confirmed"-some kind of Catholic church thing. Nathan and I were totally lost during the whole ceremony, mainly because most of it was in Spanish! Then we went to Don Pedros after and had a great time. I just love Juanita. She is such a great person.

We also have been to a few birthday parties, they were a ton of fun. Saw a few movies with the hubby, actually got to go on a real date without our child -we went to the movies and watched Wolverine. Not that I don't thoroughly enjoy chasing my child around the movie theatre and missing the whole movie every time we take him with us, but an occasional break is nice.

Well, that is our update for the month. Hope everyone has had a good one so far.

P.S. I think I am going to root for the Cavaliers. I feel like a traitor because they are from the East, but what can you do? Who are you cheering for? And don't say the lakers!
